My must have highlighter for under £5!

Hello lovelies,

Hope your all doing good and having a great week! And for all my fellow mums I hope your wee ones and you are back into a normal routine since they have gone back to school, I know I'm grateful to be able to get more work done along with being able to do things like going to the gym and doing the food shopping in peace!

Anyway a lot of people ask me what highlighter I use, and guess what? It's a bargain at less than £5!! Available from Superdrug the beauty UK range is good quality and affordable, this highlighter is just £3.99 it's super fine and leaves a lovely dewy glow without being glittery, it's also in a baked formula which is very long lasting. The shade I have is shade no.3- Halo. It's a lovely blend of neutral tones which compliments and makeup look.

It comes in three lovely shades...

What do you think? Would you try this product?

Lots of 💗, Sarah. Xxx.

Ciao from Italy!!

Hey everyone! Yesterday we arrived at Rimini Italy for our holidays, it's amazing!!
There is such a cool vibe about the place, it's spotlessly clean and very safe for young children. The beaches all have play parks for the kids and there is a giant Ferris wheel right on the beach. There is also a gorgeous port lined with bars and restraints and a five mile sandy beach!

I am really impressed so far. Last night we just walked about exploring and went for dinner (pizza and pasta of course) although I feel we didn't see the half if it as there was something new on every corner! Anyway, here's what I wore...

Quite casual for my first night, top is Zara, Denim cutoffs are Levi vintage and wedges are Matalan.

So far having a ball, most of all I love spending quality time with my two loves.

Speak soon!!

Love, Sarah.

One Playsuit 3 Ways!

Packing for holidays can be stressful, it's hard to know exactly what to bring and determining which outfits to wear where. Often, amidst the packing confusion we arrive to our location finding that we have packed far too much but somehow still have 'nothing to wear'... My tip to avoid this happening is to pack good quality versatile pieces that will take you from beach to bar with a few simple tweaks.

This playsuit from Asos is super figure flattering with a nipped in waist and long wide sleeves, perfect for the arm conscious, it's also in the ever versatile blank canvas that is soft denim.

With the right accessories this gorgeous piece can be reworked and reworn, creating three separate looks!

Sightseeing

Exploring the sights? Shopping? Lunching? Whatever it is you choose to get up to on your day out abroad you will be sure to look chic but comfy.

Cocktails

Do you have your eye on the cute waiter? Dress to impress by upping the glam factor with some bold accessories and you will be sitting pretty at the bar!

Remove the denim tie at the waist and replace it with this gorgeous gold metallic belt from Boohoo, the glitzy wedges from River Island and this statement jewelled necklace from accessorize will look gorgeous!

Beach Day/Cover Up

One too many cocktails last night? Need something easy to throw over your bikini,a playsuit is a fab cover up and easy to get in and out of, add a floppy hat and flip flops and your ready to hit the beach!

Bake/Contour/Strobe for amazing skin!

There are so many techniques flying about to achieve professional makeup results, originally the contouring craze took over thanks to Kim Kardashian and social media but now we are hearing of 'baking' and 'strobing'. I used these three techniques today, here are the products I used to achieve flawless skin!

Firstly I applied an aloe Vera gel, moisturiser then Rimmels Wake me up foundation, then I applied a layer of my camouflage concealer from my line, I allowed that to sit on my skin for a few minutes before I blended it seamlessly setting it with Laura Mercier Setting Powder, this process is called 'baking' where you layer the products allowing them to sit on the skin for a while to 'cook' this ensures a gorgeously flawless finish and adds highlight and dimension.
I used this method under my eyes, along the bridge of my nose and my chin.

Next I used the Makeup Revolution palette to contour using the matte bronze shade.

I like to use a small domed fluffy brush to keep the application precise.

I apply this under my cheekbones, down the sides of my nose and around my hair line...

Finally the 'strobing' bit, this really is just a fancy word for highlighting,I used the lightest shade in the makeup revolution palette down the bridge of my nose, the corners of my eyes, cupids bow and tops of my cheeks.

Lastly I filled in my brows applied some mascara and lipgloss for a fresh flawless look, perfect for a Sunday.. What do you think? Would you try these techniques?

The key to this look is blend, blend, blend!!

Don't forget to comment!!

Love Sarah.

Birthday/Anniversary Outfit

Hello!!

Thought I would show you a wee summery outfit I wore last night, for my 3rd wedding anniversary and my little girls 6th Birthday! We got married on her 3rd birthday and I can't believe how time flies!!

Summers 3rd Birthday at our wedding..

We got married in Florence and I wish I could do it all over again!!

Any way, I was spoiled by my hubby and got a replica bouquet from our wedding day centrepieces! So sweet,

I was delighted when these arrived!

I also got a beautiful necklace with a little diamond for each year!

We just went to Frankie and Bennys and then to see the new Minions Movie, we will celebrate our wedding anniversary properly this weekend as we wanted Summer to enjoy her birthday.

Here is what I wore..

Would you believe this dress is £5 from Primark! I just love the colour! I decided to colour pop a bit and added fuchsia accessories, the bag is parfois and the shoes are from a boutique in Portugal.

Me and the gorgeous birthday girl were kinda matching!!

It really was a lovely night, can't believe I have a six year old!! ❤️

Love Sarah.

Wednesday OOTD

Hello lovelies!!

We are half way through the week, thankfully! On a Wednesday my hubby has a half day from work so we usually go for lunch or take a trip into Glasgow, today we did both.

Here's what I wore...

Jacket and Top/ Primark
Boyfriend Jeans/ F&F @ Tesco
Boots/Asos
Bag/ DKNY
Belt/Next

I also tied this Leopard print scarf from Primark around my head as a head band!

There's a lot of leopard lovin goin on! I love adding print to an otherwise simple jeans and tee combo, I rolled up the cuffs of these boyfriend jeans to show a cheeky bit of ankle!!

We went for lunch to Soho on Miller Street in Glasgow.

I got arincini to start...

I was a bit disappointed when they came as they were freezing cold in the middle, but they apologised profusely and replaced them with an extra ball!

Next I had a Turkey Club Baguette which was nice but there was a slight mayo overload! My hubby got the pizza and it was yum!!

The cocktails were delicious also, I got a lemon concoction which was lovely.

Cheers! Have a great Wednesday!

Love

Sarah
