Bake/Contour/Strobe for amazing skin!

There are so many techniques flying about to achieve professional makeup results, originally the contouring craze took over thanks to Kim Kardashian and social media but now we are hearing of 'baking' and 'strobing'. I used these three techniques today, here are the products I used to achieve flawless skin!

Firstly I applied an aloe Vera gel, moisturiser then Rimmels Wake me up foundation, then I applied a layer of my camouflage concealer from my line, I allowed that to sit on my skin for a few minutes before I blended it seamlessly setting it with Laura Mercier Setting Powder, this process is called 'baking' where you layer the products allowing them to sit on the skin for a while to 'cook' this ensures a gorgeously flawless finish and adds highlight and dimension.
I used this method under my eyes, along the bridge of my nose and my chin.

Next I used the Makeup Revolution palette to contour using the matte bronze shade.

I like to use a small domed fluffy brush to keep the application precise.

I apply this under my cheekbones, down the sides of my nose and around my hair line...

Finally the 'strobing' bit, this really is just a fancy word for highlighting,I used the lightest shade in the makeup revolution palette down the bridge of my nose, the corners of my eyes, cupids bow and tops of my cheeks.

Lastly I filled in my brows applied some mascara and lipgloss for a fresh flawless look, perfect for a Sunday.. What do you think? Would you try these techniques?

The key to this look is blend, blend, blend!!

Don't forget to comment!!
