Christmas can be an expensive time. A time where the shopping list grows and the pennies diminish. Of course, we all want to enjoy ourselves over the festive season and as women we want to look great whilst doing so. So when the calendar is packed full it doesn’t mean your wardrobe has to be. Here are my tips on looking fabulous whatever the occasion using a piece most of us have in our wardrobe, the Little Black Dress. Autumn Wish List!!

September is here! Whilst I am grateful for the mild weather we have been having I am also a little dismayed as I am so ready to get my autumn fashion on! Time to put the legs away and get the tights out,oh the joy... I love this time of year when we see the emerging collections on the high street of A/W fashion signifying a seasonal change and bringing with it an air of excitement for whats to come and all the fashion possibilities for my favorite time of year, I am a December baby after all.
I always tend to up my makeup game at this time of year as you can get away with more glamour as the long evenings draw in...

I have already seen quite a few bits on the high street that I am loving. But before we go there, can we just take a minute to appreciate Dolce&Gabbanas stunning A/W collection??

Regal and Red.

Safe to say the hot colour this season is scarlet red that will be sure to have you looking like a sexy siren. We will be sure to see plenty of this look represented across the high street this season.

That khaki fur jacket is to die for! Its definitely on my wish list. And I am so in love with the fact that knee high boots are back in a big way. I have a bit of an obsession with boots and especially knee highs. I think they can add a bit of sass to any outfit. I am lusting after the red pair.

Smoky Eye and Soft Pink Lips!

Hello all!! Hope you all had a fabulous Easter weekend. I certainly did. I ate alot and indulged in a cocktail or two... My little one had us up at 6am Easter Sunday morning, so excited for the easter bunny! She was super happy with her eggs as well as some other little toys and treats, she was spoiled! Over the weekend I also enjoyed a meal and some cocktails with a girlfriend. I opted for a smoky eye and pink lips which looked quite pretty.

My favourite product from my range right now is my Crayon Dombre in Monochrome I love how it adds depth and highlight to the eyes and enhances any eye looks. You can see in the picture I used the white to highlight my inner corners and browbone and I used the black to line the water line, I also smudged a little across my upper lash line. Full Product list:

Eyes: Golden Brown shadow, Crayon Dombre,Defining Mascara, I used my eye pencil in Chestnut to fill in Brows.

Skin: Concealer Palette, Blush Palette,Pro Finish Pressed Powder in Canvas.

Lips: Longstay Lipstick in Honolulu Pink. This lipstick lasted amazingly well all night even through out my meal and whilst sipping on cocktails! 

Speaking of cocktails, I had the most amazing Cosmopolitans, they were yummy!!

Orange Lips/Hot Trend!

Hi all! So, over the next few days I plan to show you how to recreate the catwalks hottest makeup looks for this season. First up, Orange lips! This trend can seem a bit scary to some but its all about using the right products to achieve a look that works for you. Whether it be full on dramatic or a subtler take on the trend. I decided to go middle of the road with this one. The colour pop is there but as the finish is glossy instead of a strong opaque colour its that bit more wearable and by keeping my skin luminous and glossy, paired with a subtle eye it all works magnificently together! What do you think?

Bargain Buy!!

I am a girl who loves a bargain!! I especially love when I end up getting a bargain on something I have been lusting after, isnt it great when that happens?

For a while now I have been debating over whether to buy these fabulous shoes from ASOS. They are called Secret Garden and are £35.

I just love the metallic silver and the little block heel and ankle strap give them a ladylike feel.

Anyways, I popped into BANK yesterday whilst out shopping and I found the exact same pair in the sale for...£10!! I was so happy and snapped them up!! I will wear them with turned up jeans for now and little dresses when the weather improves.

They are by Blonde + Blonde and gorgeous quality. 

I also picked up these stunning roses from M&S, I just love the colour, an almost fluorescent orange, they are certainly brightening up my living room. I just love roses.
